DubFreeze 2013
Today I attended DubFreeze 2013 at Bingley Hall in Staffordshire. It was my first outdoor car show of 2013 and the first big Dub show of the season. For £10, it was a cracking show, with hundreds of quality cars to see and a great indoor car-part market.
As I wanted to focus 100% on my photography, I attended this meet on my own. This was a first for me but gave me lots more time to think about and take/retake shots, which I feel is evident with my results.
Today I used my Tamron 10-24mm lens mostly, with a handful of shots on my 50mm prime towards the end of the day. I’ve started to find my feet with the prime, realising that it’s not actually a bad lens if you use it on the right occasions or if you give your shots a little more thought.
In the past, I’ve tried to make the prime work without really thinking about it. However, this is a lens that you simply cannot just point and shoot. Realising this has changed my approach on how I use it and given me a whole new level of appreciation for my results.
Anyway, here are some of my pictures! The rest can be seen in my Flickr set or on Facebook.
Thanks for reading!
